Calligraphy by Shen Yinmo沈尹默（1883—1971）原名君默，字中、秋明，号君墨，别号鬼谷子。 浙江吴兴人，擅长中国画、书法。肄业于浙江嘉兴师范，曾随兄弟留学日本，归国后任教于 浙江省立一中、高等师范学校。1913年任北京大学文史教授。“五四”参加新文化运动，任 《新青年》编辑。1929年任河北省教育厅长，1932年任北平大学校长，后任北平研究院史学 研究会研究员。抗战时任重庆国民政府监察院监察委员，后定居上海。1949年后历任中央文史副馆长，上海文史馆馆务委员，上海中国画院兼职画师等。第三届全国人大代表，第三、 四届全国政协委员。著有《书法论丛》、《二五书法管窥》、《历代名家学书经验谈辑要释 义》等，出版有《沈尹默书法集》多种。
